Default Engine Light

Is there a way to reset this to off? I have fixed the problem and tried disconnecting the negative battery terminal (as well as the positive) with no result. I also completely disconnected the ECU and still no reset. It has been on for about 2 days now. The problem was a dirty MAF sensor which I cleaned and the car runs perfectly now.

Gonna need a code reader that has the ability to clear it. If you catch your jag service advisor in a good mood and at a slow time, he may do it at no charge. Call ahead, explain the new repair you did to your MAF sensor, and he may recommend a time to come by. It couldn't hurt.

you can get a code reader with a reset button for less that 70 bucks now...handy to have.
