Default Front suspension mounts

Hello all,

wanted to ask if someone knows where to find the front suspension mounts for X308 XJR 1999 with CATS, or to be more specific only for right side, part number: MNC2168BE?

I have asked almost every dealer in EU and UK and there's a shortage of supply, no one can get them since May.

It's also possible for me to change only the bushings (can be PU or rubber like original) but can't find those either that someone sells them separately.

Any ideas?

Thanks

You are so correct there's a shortage, I rebuilt mine by just sourcing the rubber cushion (I have CATS as well), but that was 12 yrs ago.

I did come across this, I don't know how up to date their stock is.... https://www.britishparts.co.uk/class...ount-mnc2168af ...it says they have both sides available but they are non-CATS. If they only have the left, then break the one down to use the bushing to rebuild your right one. The difference is the size of your sleeve for the shock rod.

Also, do a search with their part #, you may come up with more at a better price.

That would be my last resort if nothing else comes up. Wouldn't want to damage something when dissassembling.

Are the bushings from that MNC2168AF (non CATS model) same as for the MNC2168BE? I think that the center bore is larger for the CATS model.

I ended up drilling out the shock holes on some non XJR shock mounts to replace the ones on the XJR I had a while back. Go slow and keep the bushings wet to so to not burn up the rubber!

See my thread at: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...shings-289544/
Per @Addicted2boost used CBC225455 lower isolator of the rear shocks for XJ40s. Bought from terrysjag.com.
