Hi all,

Just a general plea for a few tips. My driver side front wing on my X308 has fallen victim to rust, I have a replacement and was thinking of changing it myself. Any tips or pointers??

Also on the replacement wing the silver 'pin stripe' running down the side is broken, is that an easy fix??

I did this last year and remember it being a fairly easy "bolt-off, bolt-on" procedure. Can't help you on the pin stripe.

 

The pin stripe is painted on in the factory, you'd have to get someone really good to repaint it or get some stick on stuff from a motor factors. The front wing is easily removed. There are nuts at the front behind the area of the bumper where the reflector is, behind the wheel arch liner at the rear and the bolts along the top.
