Headlight replacement
Howdy folks....unfortunately, I have been clobbered by a rock which has smashed the left hand outer headlight.
Amazingly thick glass in these things and i'm surprised considering the noise that there was not more damage.
My query is, does it make any difference if replacement low beam outer headlight is left handed or right handed?
These things are rather expensive and luckily, I have retrieved two spare head-lights from my spares cache.
Any advice will be most appreciated.

I don't know about DOT headlights. But europe headlights pattern is sorta very wide V figure where pattern rises to the edge of the road. So in lhd cars bushes and roadsigs are light on the right side of the road and rhd cars on the left side of the road. When you mix these, you will blind every driver coming at you.
Thanks Vauxi....I kinda figured that ;o)
In Australia, we're RHD so yes, the light pattern rises to the left.
I'm wondering is there any particular markings that differentiate LHD from RHD?
