Hope you can help.

The last few weeks I have noticed that when driving above 70mph, after a few minutes the engine will die, I pull over and stop.
As soon as I have stopped I restart the engine with no problem.

If I drive speed upto 70mph the engine will not die on me.

Can somebody please tell me why the car should die on me with speeds above 70mph.

*sounds* like either a poor battery or throttle body connectors.

 

Wish we knew what model: wild *** guess: he has an XJR and the second fuel pump quit.

 

My bet is the early throttle body fault (vacuum holding blade closed).
Maybe the recall was not addressed or is reoccurring.
