Yeah thanks for the heads up , I have already re soldered the two large pins for the pump power connector but I will have to open the whole module to take a look at all the other solder joints in it since I only cut a small hole where the the two large pins are for the pump. But today in the morning I had only the abs light on then it disappeared , but then appeared again in less than a mile of driving and so did the stability control fail , followed by the check engine after I turned off and on my car many times.

When you moved the link harness and sensor, did the fault follow the pair to the other wheel??? Or did you get the same DTC for the same wheel??

Before I would scrap the module or spend too much time with the module, I would watch the wheel speed sensor with DATALOGGER to see if the wheel speed goes 'off-line' intermittent. The link harness can 'blink' open circuit and set the fault. DATALOGGER is part of WDS and IDS but it might be an operation in other diagnostic units.

The suspension arms move all the time while driving but checking the continuity while standing might be a waste of time??? You will not see the open circuit at the moment it happens but the MODULE will. It might ONLY happen with control arm movement.
