Try post in the XJ(308) Forum for your vintage. XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

You should get better response from those members with similar vehicles.

Hi elic9,

I'm wondering if that part number should begin with three letters instead of two. For example, in the Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog (EPC), which you can download from this forum, there is a pipe that connects the two carbon canisters, with a part number of NND6067BE (for Canada/Mexico/USA cars). Is that the part you need?

The part doesn't show up at jaguarclassicparts.com, but it does show up at jaguarmerriamparts.com, showing that it supersedes to your NND6067BG and is offered at the bargain price of $237.23. That doesn't actually mean it is still available from Jaguar:

2002 Jaguar Parts - Jaguar Parts Center - Call (800) 510-1401 for Genuine Jaguar Parts and Accessories

Your most economical solution will probably be to either find a good replacement part at a salvage yard, or to fabricate your own replacement from commonly-available rubber hose or metal pipe. The materials you use just need to be safe for use with gasoline and gasoline fumes. I don't believe the evap system is under great pressure or vacuum, so regular hose clamps should work.

What exactly is wrong with your pipe? Could you use the original ends, cut out the middle and just replace it with rubber fuel hose?

Cheers,

Don
