1. Are these XJR compatible?

2. Does the primary timing chain guide come with both the flat and curved side, so I'd need 2 of these?

I've already done the secondary tensioners, and all of the associated upper gaskets and orings.

Now I intend to replace the:
Primary tensioners
Primary guides
Primary chains
Upper & Lower front cover gaskets
Front cover crank seal
Thermostat
Water pump

I'd like to replace the cooland hoses too. Do I need to get those from Jag? They weren't on christopher's site and I don't think they're compatible with Lincoln parts.

Am I missing anything?

Neither of those thermo housings will fit the XJR - it's a cast alloy part.

You will need 4 guides, flat and curved both sides.

I created this PDF file that covers all the Primary Timing Chains related part numbers and prices. I used Christopher's Ebay webpages as a basis for getting the part numbers and the prices (also Gaudin Jaguar Parts website for the parts that did not have prices).
