I am attempting to install a QDF5W Quaife ATB differential and have had it set up in a spare carrier. I have started the process of dropping the rear suspension subframe and would like pointers or a step through to doing this. I have not done this before but after removing calipers and prop shaft, I do not see how I can remove these exhaust hanger bushings. There is just not enough room to get a wrench (or my arm up into) on the topside of the inner bolts. (lower nuts are welded nuts) Do I need to remove the pipes/mufflers? How have others done this? Are there any pointers or suggestions? I could get destructive but would rather do it cleanly and neatly if there is a procedure.
As always, thank you for your time, patience, and any responses offered.

Xalty, yes, and thank you, I thought that your method might be the only solution (ratcheting wrench) and did start backing out the easier to reach sides of each pair. Before I completely removed them I thought, how in the heck will I ever be able to put the bolts back in after the swap? I was leaning towards a “break over” style slim ratcheting wrench (10mm) but it sure looks to be a challenge to try to “stab” the bolts back in later because of clearances. I will press forward then. I thought I should ask to maybe save a frustration. 10-4 on the “one click at a time” hand fatigue.
I had the work done at “Differential & Gear of Ft. Worth Texas.” I had new seals and bearings installed as well. I worked with a fellow there named Charlie. It took about a month because of his workload and he said that he had to order a special wrench for the job. The total cost was about six bills including tax. I am finally getting around to all the upgrades that were medically delayed. It has become part of my recovery therapy. I love these cars and get many waves of approval and an occasional offer to buy or trade regularly. Everyone loves the lines, truly rolling art yes?

I just undo the exhaust joints (front and rear) and 'knock' the 'pegs' out of the rubber mounts. The mufflers/silencers can be left hanging or you can attempt to remove the pipes.
With the exhaust disconnected from the front and rear, the rear suspension will simply drop with them in-situ.

We would love to see some photos after your work is complete. Not only of your recent work but
the whole car as well.
Thank you for that information. What I really like about that is that it appears that the stock ring gear can bolt up to the Quaife. Really looking forward to seeing how it performs for you.
