Rear Front Subframe Bushing OEM source
Hello everyone I am in need of new subframe bushings, I have been able to source new OEM vee mounts from the JaguarClassics department but I can't find the rear front subframe bushing (round MNC2370AC) I bought some URO parts examples just in case, but I have had bad experiences with URO and would like to avoid using them if I can. Does anyone know of a retailer the still has some new old stock of these? Or any forum members on here have a couple stashed away that they would be willing to part with? I would be willing to pay a good price for them. I have looked into casting some poly bushings myself but since I have never done something like that I would prefer my first time not being on such a hard-to-reach and crucial bushing.
Side note: I know Terrys has a listing for OEM bushing but I ordered from them and I got a call saying that they actually only have the URO parts items.
I really appreciate any help you can provide.

A fellow forum member has made me aware of MNA2370AA bushing which are almost identical but were meant for the earlier x300's. The only difference is the location of the cutouts, some places such a simplyperformace suggest that these two parts are interchangeable. Has anyone had experience doing this? I have only found one thread about this stating someone was going to try this but they never followed up.
There's seller on ebay have them but they ship from Australia I think 70$ per bush . Uro parts is really bad I tired few of their parts it was really bad .
However you can't go wrong with Standard motor products very good after market brand

Hi everyone, we sell about (180) of these bushings annually and haven't had any returned as "defective". The one review for this bushing on Amazon is 5-stars, if it helps.
Definitely would not substitute MNA2370AA for MNC2370AC. The dimensions might be the same (we don't offer MNA2370AA and can't confirm it), but the intended load bearing angles differ by 90° and swapping the bushings would likely result in rapid collapse. Some track-minded sport compact car guys fill cutouts in OE-style bushings and powertrain mounts with urethane to reduce deflection, but it's hard to say how long it would take for urethane plugs to separate from the rubber and fall out. If the cutout goes all the way through the bushing, a urethane plug could be "keyed" into the bushing and lock in place. Food for thought if you decide to experiment with pouring urethane bushings (hybrid or full poly), please let us know if you try it!

Before you go dropping your subframe or pressing out your old bushings, make sure to measure the URO's. I think they should be closer to 70mm OD, mine were about 69.4 nominal (slightly ovalized but that's totally fine).
I've just been in the same boat (replacing front subframe vee mounts, got rear bushings just in case they were damaged when the vee's gave out) and after going through all the labor of dropping the front subframe, and struggling with getting the old bushings out for a couple hours... only to find the URO bushings were undersized. I could press them in/out by hand, NFG.
I had to get the car back on the ground before a storm rolled in so I ended up bolting it back together with the undersized bushes, couldn't reuse the old (OEM mind you) bushes cause they were damaged on removal. If I'd known ahead of time, I would've limped by on the slightly-damaged OEM bushes while I found a replacement. Now I'm out this car for even longer until this is sorted, and I'm sure excited to spend another weekend day redoing all this work again just because of a defective aftermarket part (and I only needed to touch the vee's at all because THEY were an aftermarket one which failed prematurely... I don't remember the mfr so I won't point any fingers there). I think at this point at least 1/3 of the labor I've put into this car has been resolving various defects with aftermarket parts.
to see how easy it was to push in/out... I think I've got decent grip strength but I'm not THAT strong.

I ended up shimming the URO bushings using .015" steel shim stock... it was a somewhat hacky job, but it seemed to get enough mounting coverage to hold them in place securely, everything seemed to go well with pressing them in.
A dealership confirmed that the OEM bushings from Jag are officialy NLA, not "undetermined backorder ETA" like vendors have been reporting. Keep that in mind for anyone who's planning to do this job, make sure 100% you have the correct and in-spec parts first before dropping the subframe...

Hi guys, we should have a new production run of Front Subframe Bushing MNC2370AC sometime Summer or Fall 2025, which will resolve the "undersized" issue discussed earlier.
Again, URO Parts Subframe Bushing MNC2370AC (for 1998-2002 Vanden Plas, 2003 Vanden Plas SC, and 1998-2003 XJ8/XJR) should NOT be used as a substitute for bushing MNA2370AA or MNC2370AB for X308, as the pillars/voids in the rubber are designed for completely different loading. The rubber material inside the MNC2370AC shell will tear quickly if misused in MNA2370AA / MNC2370AB locations.

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to confirm that I ran in to the same issue with a set that I purchased on amazon ( ). Mine are pretty undersized as well. Nilanium, did you ever run in to a problem with steel shim shock on the bushings?
Also, obligatory video. Mine seems to be around .002+ off on the Passenger side. The Drivers side is far closer to Nilanium's video in fitment.

Hi ChristmasGT, we scrapped the last production run in inventory earlier this year, and are trying to get them back from retailers where possible (that third party seller on Amazon isn't one of our customers). Our best ETA for a new production run is now mid-winter 2026, please send us a message with your purchase details via the website at that time and we'll be happy to send you the new ones at no charge! Or you could return those to the seller, but that probably won't remove them from the supply chain, unfortunately.
