Default Recommendation for Brake Pads on a XJR

Hello, I need new brake pads for my 2002 XJR, what brand and type (ceramic, semi-metallic) is recommended. I would prefer low brake dust type.

+1 on the Akebonos. Last year I replaced everything, pads and rotors. I couldn't be happier with the akebonos with the brembo rotors. Brake dust is little to none. Once I bedded them, there incredibly quiet and when coming to a stop you don't feel the little jerk at the end when you complete the stop.
All the other pads that claim their bite is insane and don't have any brake fade, I will guarantee that they squeak like a mf if they aren't really hot. And not unless you're at a track, you wont get to that temp.
If you get brembo rotors make sure that the don't have the cross hatch lathe marks. You want the ones that have the circular lathe marks. The cross hatched ones come from china.

OEM rotors and Akebono Euro pads are long lasting, no dust, and work well.

Looks like the Akebono pads aren't available for the front wheels on Brembo-equipped cars. They carry the rear pads, but the front brakes are the ones that I need to replace. That's just my luck
