removing front rotor HELP!!

Does anyone know how to remove the front rotor on a 2000 xj8, i took off the calipers and the calipers brackets but i can´t take the rotor off, is there a bolt or clip anywhere to remove it???, there aren´t any retainer clips on the wheel studs or could it be that it is only stuck and needs a few bangs with a hammer?? thx

Common problem. Rotor is just corroded to the axle. Solution is normally to loosen the lug nuts a turn and rock/roll the car to break the thing free. With it already disassembled and the rotors being replaced, try a hammer but you may find it difficult.
