Suspension Question.
Replacing all:
Shocks
Shock mounts
Rear spring bushing
upper ball joints
lower ball joints
tie rod ends
Stabilizer bar link.
Is there anything else i should replace? doing all at once taking it to my mechanic. he said he will do it around $300

I'm with Charlzo, do the pivot bearings at the back and check the gap with a feeler gauge, you can get oversized spacers to take up the slack from Jaguar Classic Parts, well worth doing as the correct spacer takes all the play when checking for movement at 9 and 3. Don't forget to 'pop-mark' where the bolt is against the hub before you remove the bolt, on some it's a concentric bolt that alters the camber angle (well it does on mine!). Also, if you change the U/J's make sure you don't do the daft mistake I made and have the grease nipples facing the wrong way, sorry, I'm a thicko lol

The pivot bolt should be the same for all X308's as there is only one part number, i.e. all X308's should have this bolt with an eccentric flange at its head. Placing the flange at different orientations will alter the rear wheel toe-in, not the camber. The camber is adjusted by changing the thickness of the spacer at the diff output flange. The spacer comes in 9 different thicknesses.
That is a GREAT price for all that work.
If he’s in there, upper and lower control arm bushings.
+1 on the rear universal joints. This part takes a lot of punishment.

The upper spring isolator is P/N MMD3565AA ordered off Ebay for $36 each.
The upper shock isolator is P/N CAC949350 ordered from Motorcars LTD for $9.05 each plus shipping.
The lower shock isolator is P/N CAC949465 ordered from Motorcars LTD for $16.53 each plus shipping.
The bottom shock mount is P/N CCC6782, but I didn't replace mine as they didn't look bad and can be replaced on the car if need be. The shocks are original and new shocks come with new lower shock mounts, so I didn't think it was worth it.
