My 2000 XJR is now at the dealer after having an overheating issue fixed.
The dealer guys took it out for a short test drive and the brakes stopped working.
After some research they found that the vacuum pipe to the brake booster was leaking.
However they don't have any new or used spare parts available in Japan.
Any idea how I can get ahold of this for a reasonable price? My XJR is RHD.
I found this image after looking around the forum:
Yeah, it isn't cheap...but look in the Marketplace, top task bar, 5th option from the left. There are at least 2 XJR being parted out, one due to accident (Nilanium) and another someone just got tired of.

Many thanks for advice. Too bad I need one for RHD version.

Yeah, you did mention that didn't ya... in that case you'd need to work the English recycle yards or be the proud owner of this fancy, not very discounted, special order piece of pipe.
Question...is that a rigid piece of pipe and how large is the break? If so, I may have a suggestion depending on what you tell me.
If you speak Japanese and can order from Yahoo japan then you can find that part if don't speak check your friends
I can pm you for link x308 for parts in Japan

@Silverjag0 Thanks for that. Yes I do speak and read Japanese. I didn't find anything in Yahoo Japan yet though.
Svalbard...I am sure you probably know the range of descriptions
and fitments of this particular part. While that pipe might fit well in
your car, there is a chance the pipe bends do not fit as you would like.
That said, I would compare the overall geometry of parts you want to
replace, with the pictures illustrated in the listing. Even then, some of
the pictures could be misleading.
