Default Water hose

Looking for that 2 inch hose going to the water inlet.

Any idea of the size and where to get it?

Seems as though you can find a cheap hose and just cut it rather that by a genuine Jag part for $40.00.

I might not buy a cheap hose but would certainly get one from my local auto parts store for only a few bucks.

I would get an oe hose if it is moulded in any way -- Was $40.00 from an online dealer ...... I don't remember the hoses being all that expensive -- except the few crazy complex ones

I just threw that number out, but was wondering the size so I can just get a hose and just cut it as needed.

I bought a Ford hose that was the same diameter as the one I was replacing and just cut off what I didn't need.

Hi Anthony
Is it the bypass hose that connects to the thermostat tower shown in this JTIS21 graphic image (see the circled 4 reference):

Part number is AJ85313 (from Jaguar Electronic Parts Catalog) retail price at your local Jaguar parts dept should be $3.15.

Jagbit website shows another part# NCA2213AC (their price is $3.80 plus shipping - probably more than the part's price).

I'm replacing my plastic housing with metal.

Do I need sealant on the gaskets?

NO!! Not if it uses the proper captured compression seals.

Cheers,
