Did you replace bulbs?

Was there soldering involved?

No soldering just plug & play factory bulbs.

I took the oil pan off my car today.......why?..........curiosity more than anything.

Everything was pretty clean in there, there was a very slight build up on the "floor" of the pan from 19 years of motoring, and a few small pieces of red/brown plastic that were obviously from previously deteriorated timing chain tensioners. (which were all replaced 2 years ago). The oil pump strainer would have dealt with these had they got that far, but it was good to have them out of there.

A thorough clean of the pan inside and out, a visual check of the oil strainer, a new rubber pan gasket, a refill of oil and we were back in business.

So my mailman has been enamored w/ my X308 for a while now, he once offered me 10K as he always sees me out tinkering with it etc. Today he's up to 12K lol. Alas the ole girl's not for sale lol.

Another SVP bites the dust. Picked up a few items left from acciedent on Friday. Iv'e been chasing down a twitch in the backend of the car for a while and before I could find the source it got the best of me. Hit a pothole during snow/ice storm casuingt the rear to step out aound a hihg-speed turn. Couldnt get it back and hit retaining wall. Waiting to hear final word but it's done, wish I had a place to park it and maybe bring it back slowly but not in the cards.

Was a professional install but the bill for labor didn't reflect a tough job lol. There are threads here that detail double din installs w/ touchscreens etc.
