Any halfway decent set of gauges makes filling the aircon easier, takes the guesswork out.
Poor cooling can be a few things, you may have moisture in the system, especially if it's been zero pressure for any period of time.
Helpful to be able to see both sides of the system.
Could be the moisture but i suspect it is fake r134 can i used to top up, the gauge shows correct pressure and if it go a bit higher pressure switch turns compressor off, so i know i'm full, condenser is not in top condition but isn't obstructing flow excessively either, perhaps i will empty the system, replace o-rings, receiver and get the shop to fill with real r134,
Not my top priority as it works now, just in 30C could cool some more
That is why I always use automated machine where it asks the gas amount. It completely rules out the correct amount questions. Correct amount is publiced by Jaguar. 670gr + - 10gr. gr Is grams. In EU people can not buy r134a or r1234yf gas ***** nilly. You gave to have license to buy and work on hvac systems.

I vacuumed the system down and added gas by weight using a digital kitchen scale.
