HI,

Please see picture below. This photo is taken looking in the passenger front side wheel well. When you're done shaking your head after looking at the added screws, could you please tell me what is this part called? The part in question is the squarish plastic piece (approx 7" or so square with a rectangular 3" x 2" or so hole in it) that receives the squarish pipe/tube that directs air flow from the front of the car to the brake area. I need one for the driver's side (lost it on the freeway)

I was bad.... parked too far in on a parking spot and managed to hook part of the front underside/air dam area/chin area and knocked the plastic stuff loose. I pulled out the loose air ducting (passengers side) and put it in the trunk. While on the freeway I saw the part in question go flying off from the driver's side.

If I know what it is called, I could more easily find a replacement.

 

Ia it the mounting bracket (?) for the brake cooling duct?

Just noticed that my XJR is missing the same part from the right side. The brake duct itself was held in place pretty much by gravity.

I found one bracket from eBay, but postage to Finland is quoted $127...

Luckily they put the Jaguar part number (hnc4469af) on their listing, which hopefully makes the part a bit easier to find.
