Yes I was referring to the #EBC9040 one that M.Stojanovic was talking about that is meant for an x300 but looks like it would work on an x308. The source you have in the UK is it for the #EBC9040 part number or the powertrain industries one? if the latter then I would definitely be interested! I can source the former here in the US.

Well it appears that I am a lucky man! I happened to have a spare center support bearing #EBC9040 in storage which was meant for my 1983 XJ6. After some measurements comparing it to the OEM measurements at the beginning of this thread it appears to be identical in every dimension. I would still like to know if M.Stojanovic was successful in installing his. If I end up installing this one I will post here how it went!

I have not installed EBC9040 on my X308, still keeping it for spare.

According to my measurements, EBC9040 has exactly the same dimensions as the Powertrain's 3080-25 so, if the Powertrain's one fits, EBC9040 should also fit.

I just rebuilt the drive shaft on my 1999 X308 and can also confirm EBC9040 is an exact fit. You will need a press and some thin walled tubes to get the new one in

The UJ is GUJ116 (Hardy Spicer) has a zerk (grease) fitting which is a nice addition
