Hi guys Time to replace the radiator the leaks is in everywhere
I'm thinking to buy new 2004 xj8 radiator then remove the tank and install x308 plastic tank is that possible? Ist same core size ?
Otherwise I have to buy the junkyard radiator which is not in that good shape

 

Can't you get your existing rad recored? That's what I'd look to do if I couldn't get a new one.

 

Yes indeed, your best bet is a radiator shop. They can do the job right and you seldom
need to worry with it again.

 

Yup definitely I will take both radiator to the shop but I need to make sure if the size are the same can't do the job by my own though it's not that much difficult I saw they just remove the tank then sealant then pressure test and done

 

If you're going to a rad shop anyway, just ask them to recore the rad you've got. Shouldn't be any need to buy the wrong rad to take bits from.

 

i totally agree...the recore would be the best option.
