Hi marky151,
I'd be interested in seeing a full side view from a little further back to see the full profile. You could be creating a more elegant version of the old Chevrolet El Camino or Ford Ranchero. What is your plan for covering the fuel tank? And like Rob I'm wondering if MOT will be a hurdle?
Cheers,
Don

Hi, fuel tank will be lower than the finnished bed so i will just install a inspection hatch out of the hardwood and chrome finnish. As long as the car conforms to current structual and mechanical regulations there should be no problems, according to VOSA i dont need an IVA as the car has less than 8 seats and is over 10yrs old. See a mock up of what i hope it will look like attached.

Third photo in original post has name and phone number of the garage where it appears the work was being done. The website is active: https://stchristopherscarsales.co.uk/service-and-mot/
Would be great to see how this turned out...
