Veneer type?
I need to purchase some new wood veneer for the inside of my car. It's cracking on the center console and its chipped on my air conditioning vents on the front. What type of veneer is it?
Consider having it repaired rather than replacing a couple of sections. It will be difficult to find a single section to match both the grain and the color.

oh yeah i was gonna take all of it off and replace it. I just wanted it to be close to the wood panels that I have on the glove box and on the doors.
I didn't wanna get somethin like zebra wood when it was english walnut and be screwed.

I used walnut burl, however the patterns was off some. I am thinking about redoing the items I had to replace the veneer(ski-slope, right and left vents, armrest controls, ashtray). It looks good but don't really match the other items.
Jaguar still used this company when I left the dealer in 2006.
The prices are nearly 15 years old.

Yeah, Madera Concepts does beautiful work. There was a run of 2000 and 2001 XK/XJ cars that got a hazy veneer and Madera did an excellent job reclearing the veneers and, when I get the inclination to fix my car's wood panels, would not hesitate to give them a call. You can find them on the web.
