Hey guys. I have a power steering leak coming from the front and narrowed it down to this part that is installed inline on the hose that goes to the power steering reservoir. I believe its a power steering fluid filter but I am not sure and I am also not sure where to get one. A google search yielded more confusion than understanding since I did not see any that looked like mine. Appreciate the help in advance guys!
Thanks for the responses guys! I believe the compressor is on drivers right of the part. It is connected to what looks like a the pump that motorcarman mentioned. I took the old one off and it looks like an inline power steering filter so I just replaced it for now with a new aftermarket one from autozone. So far no issues but most importantly no leaks! I used Edelmann Elite Power Steering Filter Part number 70699 and changed the connectors to 3/8 inch to fit the hoses. I have included the link below to the piece in case anyone needs it!
