Fuel filter mounting bracket, which type?
Hello friends and helpful people of the Jaguar forums!
In preparation for my week long trip to England in a few weeks time I decided to change the fuel filter. Had been postponing it as I couldn't get it off last time, something to do with rust...
I noticed my mounting bracket is missing completely and I was wondering if anyone knows which would be the correct type for my 1991 '40.
Here's the type of filter I run.
Only one bolt shows on the body of the car, halfway down the filter.
I'm making a quick run to my local Jaguar junkyard to buy some plastic tracks for the driver's seat lumbar support that's broken, so I figured I might as well buy a mounting bracket/sleeve while I'm there..
Thanks in advance for the help!

Thank you for the quick reply! Highly appreciate it! I'll definitely keep that in mind. I still have a few aftermarket instrumounts laying around somewhere from SNG, so I'll try and find the CBC9512.
Would still appreciate if someone has a picture of their setup on the fuel filter of this type for easier searching at the scrapper!

I once made the mistake of changing an XJ40 fuel filter the day before going to France for a month's holiday. It was a 2.9 which has an even worse fuel filter arrangement than the 3.2 or 4.0 litre versions:
XJ40 2.9
XJ40 3.2/4.0
However, I think the same caution applies. You will be lucky to get away without one of the solid fuel lines giving way due to rusting. Plan for the worst and be very relieved if you do get away with a straightforward disconnection/reconnection.
