Hello everyone. im looking for a few factory chrome wheels for a series 1 car. i rather foolishly let 2 sets go when i sold one of my cars. if anyone has a set or knows where i might find some i would be very grateful. I am in Colorado so would prefer to buy in US. Pic is what i am looking for, from my old car before she got painted.

one or two ratty ones. its very hard to search for wheels on ebay because there are so many vendors. for instance, put Jaguar 15" chrome wheel in the search and you get 7100 results. Change it to Jaguar factory / oem chrome wheels you get 6100! so, i thought i would ask here.

 

I saw one Series 2 rim on ebay for $600 US and another one refurbished in England for 1,100+ pounds.
I have them on my series 3. I took them off a 1980 XJ6 which I junked.
I also have a set of 15" lattice wheels which I plan to refurbish and put on my XJ6. Make me an offer for all 4. (Just kidding). They are unaffordable based on the prices I am seeing.
If I decided to sell the price would be the cost of refurbishing my lattice wheels, new tires plus shipping. Way too expensive.

 

a set of 4 is being offered in the UK, they look like new, complete with hubcaps.

 

yes, they contacted me. beautiful wheels but $$ and shipping was too expensive. I wish i could afford them they are mint!

 

it's a once-in-a-lifetime find.
