Default Central door locks

Hey everyone,
My series II central door locks are not working correctly. When I press the button to lock or unlock the locks all make lots of clicking noises and try to operate. Then no power for 30 seconds or so. Where should I start? Are there just 2 relays under the back seat?

The reason you have no power for that 30 seconds is you've tripped the thermal overload. It's there to keep from letting the smoke out of the actuators.

To fix it you must remove the door liners and lubricate all the lock linkages. Start with a rear door first as there's less 'stuff' to deal with.

I second that. I had dodgy locks, spent the time to lube everything methodically and they've worked fantastically since. It's a good first step that's for sure.
