Finished!
All the parts of the Console are in their proper place! I even got the piping around the ski slope, and it looks pretty good if I say so myself.
Here's driver side;
I haven't got the cheeks and the underscuttle on, but I'll put them on after the steering is finished.
And the passenger side. That stain in the side of the console won't come off. I don't want to damage the leather so I'm leaving it. It may be from the seat belt buckle.
This finishes the console in Nix; unless I don't like the Opticell and decide to fool with that. Otherwise, I'm Done.
Thank you all for your kind attention, comments and encouragement.

Thanks, Guys, this has been Quite an adventure! I had NO idea it would take this long!!
This wasn't even the main reason the car has been laid up!
Now that two Major projects are finished (and Dozens of sub-projects) we can concentrate on suspension and brakes.

Sure does look good. And, although the work under the ski slope is not visible, you know what it is and that counts a lot.
You suppose that miniscule spot is a scar in the hide? while on the cow or later in some stage, mebbe at Brownslane....
I would see it as a sign of the near perfection of all else in that cabin.

I have decided to build the Opticell LED modification because the lack-of-light complaints continue across the centuries. I have been hearing this compaint since 1990, before I even had internet. Enough is enough, I'm going to fix the problem.
the way I will do it will be on exchange-basis. You send me your stone-age neandarthal opticell (without the black lens and cables, it just twists off), and I send you the modified "light fixture".
Disclaimer: I will accept no "the Opticell is too bright now" complaints.
Now I need to figure out what to charge, because free is a four letter word.

Carl:
Thank you again for your kind words. The mark is right where the seat belt buckle would ride if some 'portly' person was riding there. There's a corresponding mark on the seat back that you merely can't see around the curve.
Did you happen to catch the window switch wiring map at the end of page 3?
Jose:
Thank you for your encouragement and kind words.
I found an LED replacement with 5 elements that fits right into the Opticell socket. It takes Full advantage of the reflector and is Very bright! I gave the information in that post.
Besides that, I do Not want to take this all apart again any time soon. However, I wish you success in your endeavor.
