Hey guys, quick question. I currently have no exhaust from the mufflers back. I just ordered some over axle pipes from SNG and they wont be here for a couple weeks. I don't want to get a crazy amount of money tied up into this because ill be doing an engine swap within a couple years and it will be getting replaced with a larger diameter pipe. Are there any recommendations on a more economical rear silencer/resonator that I can purchase to get me by? Also does anyone have any clue what the mating diameter is on those axle pipes? 1.75, 2"? Thanks

I recall the pipe is 1.875" but I'm a bit foggy on that

My exhaust system was a bit of a hack job and one of the welds failed, causing it to drop a pipe on the ground from the joint behind the rear cat on the left side. I rented a tailpipe cutter from the local parts store and deleted the entire system from the cats back. That was about a year ago and I haven't gotten around to building a new exhaust system. I haven't been pulled over yet.

 

Three more ideas:

1. Visit the local muffler shop and let them build a muffler back system omitting the rear resonators. Pass the pipes under the IRS cage for simplicity

2 Replace a stock. use with the :Lump. I did, it worked out perfectly.

3. I forgot it!!
