Hello, I'm in the middle of replacing the water pump on my 1987 Vanden Plas, and am having trouble removing the EAC2860 hose fitting. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for it? I've searched around quite a bit and haven't had any luck. Thanks.

I don't think so, the connection is a bit smaller than that.

 

I have one just like the picture posted above by David84XJ6.
The one circled in your images I had not seen before, it does seem smaller.

Have you checked with SNG Barratt USA store ?

 

I didn't see any listed, but I contacted them for good measure. Seems strange that the other two fittings get included with a new water pump, but not this one.

yes, they can get parts from UK that are not listed in the website. Another source could be David Manners in UK.

 

If you can't get the fitting thru normal channels, I have order BSPT pipe fittings from China before for my XKE. There are two kinds of British pipe thread one tapered and one parallel. First you have to determine the measurements. Also have gotten them in SS, although there is less selection. Masters Catalog may have BSTP size you need also.

a possible brass fittings mine is the plumbing depts.at ACE Hardware, Home Depot, and Lowe's. They have rows of brass and stainless fittings for every possible hose.

I have not seen any British Standard Pipe (BSP) fittings in US stores shelfs. Threads per inch are different that US pipe fittings...
