Another 6 appeared so I went to take a look! Can't quite figure if this is an aborted convertible project or if someone actually needed an entire top😳
Also the trunk had these interesting wheel covers which I assume went over a stamped steel rim?
Are they "valuable" and worth grabbing? Only 2 though

The wheel covers are from a 1979-1980 XJ6 Series III. Valuable? Very few Series III cars of that vintage still in existence.

The wheel covers are held in place by unique lugnuts....which are impossible to find.
Also hard to find are unbent steel wheels.
I've always thought they were quite handsome

Cheers

I'm one of those guys that has a 1980 XJ6 and am interested in them.
I'm out of the country but will be back home in VA after April 1.
Send me a PM and we can work out an arrangement.
Thanks

I think that car was on Marketplace for quite some time.. I hate to see it ended up in the LKQ lot...
I've had a couple of sets of those hubs on the shelf for years... They're unique, if nothing else..
Cheers
