Radiator fan (s) issue.
So I have a 1997 Jaguar xj6.
I'm having trouble with the upper right side radiator fan. At first I assumed the fan one the right that's in front of the ac was probably junk, so I took the radiator fans out of my other 97 xj6 and wheni switched them to fans out of the ones I found with the issue worked fine in the other car but the same problem accured for the other car. One of the fans comes on but the other doesn't move.
so far I've obviously checked the fan itself is good and I've checked the relay fuse under the front of the car by switching it with the working car but same. And I've checked both. 30 amp fuses under the hood so no bad relay or fuses (that would case both fans not to work and in my case one does) I was looking some stuff up and I found a thing saying it could be the ac air flow or ac trinary swich. I've noticed that the ac at idle for a period of time or at first start won't work right off and one side of the lines was real hot my uncle had said originally it was the fan being broke that was causing that, so I'm looking for some help on what it might be.
so again. The right upper fan by the ac compressor doesn't spin but I know the fan is good and I've checked the fuses and relay.

Oops.
Your XJ6 is known in Jaguar speak as an X300.
Confused?, we all were at some time.
The XJ6 was used as naming for 40 odd years across many models.
The members in that section will have answers. All the XJ6 in here had engine driven fans.
Good luck.

it could be that the non-running fan only comes on when the coolant temperature reaches a pre-set temperature?
In our Series 3 (1979 up to 1987). there is a Thermal Sensor at the radiator that kicks in at a certain temp and then the auxiliary fan comes on.
