timing chain cover remove

Default timing chain cover remove

hello does anyone no if it‘s possible to remove the timing cover on a 2.8l 1970 engine without removing the cylinder head ?

If you weer able to remove the studs that go up through the head, then you could. With the studs in place it would be very difficult. You might be able to remove them then by double nutting the stud and backing it out of the timing cover that way.

ok, thank you it worked i removed the studes and the sump
