Default XJ6 XJ 12 Steel Wheel iNSERT Paint

Tried this method for the first time today. High Density Foam Roller and 1/2 Pint of Rustoleum Flat Black Enamel. Takes about 60 seconds a wheel.
I'm sure that with experience & patience, quality will improve, but for now a painful, tedious process averted.

That is absolutely brilliant. Bought 5 of those foam rollers today and some flat black paint and that method works perfect. Can't find the thread right now, but another Forum member tried to make masking a way to go and wasn't very successful. I hope they saw this post.

Many thanks, Bill

I might add that I used a Q-tip swab for touchup around the edges.

Thanks for the feedback Bill ! Apparently Greg & Thorsen need more evidence before even trying it ! May get around to that some day !

LOL I did it the hard way - masking the holes then spray painting them. I always love to see creative solutions and that's why I'd love to see a close-up of how yours turned out.

Happy to oblige! Red Lines are from TredWare and still need a bit touching up where the glue shows.
