XJC resto in Melbourne
Hello All,
I've got a 77 Series 2 XJC V12 midway through a restoration. Currently have the body about to go through the spray booth (Italian racing red) and the motor getting rebuilt. I'm trying to stay as original as possible but have a rebuilt 4L60E trans going in and am not sure about what to do electrics wise. The car is located in Collingwood Melbourne and I have access to a great little workshop with tools and Hoist etc. Any semi retired Guys with time on their hands looking for some cash leading up to Christmas please get in touch.

Welcome to the forums ! When you have time, head over to the New Members section and let us know a little about yourself. You will get a very warm welcome here.
We are also in the process of resurrecting an XJ12C....... you can see where we are on this thread https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...thread-156495/
We didn't have to go as far as you as our car was in relatively good original condition and just needed to be awoken from its 25 year slumber. Will watch with interest what feedback you get about the trans. We are considering a T700 for our car.

Here is the finished product. Sorry for not having the time to put a heap of progress photos up but I was busy.......ah like actually working on the car! I found my semi retired legends to help me out and they know who they are without being named.
If anyone is embarking on a similar task, feel free to ask me for some tips and traps to avoid in Melbourne. There are some fantastic people and businesses out there and some absolute backyard Gongbeaters who I intend on outing in due course.
The end result is terrific and I'm looking forward to sharing the Car with my Dad.
Good luck everyone
