Default 1995 XJS Coupe Third Brake Light Adhesive

My third brake light has become detached from the rear window. Any suggestions for a glue or adhesive to reattach it?

I used 3M thick (guessing tape thickness is .015") double sided tape to reattach mirror windshield mounts on other cars. I think it comes in white and black colors.

EastRando,

There are plenty of rearview mirror adhesives on the market, effectively a glass superglue. If Jaguar just used an adhesive rather than a tape originally, then perhaps you might go down that route.

Cheers

I think I'll try 3M double-sided tape first because I'm bad at superglue.

I used 3M tape. It might be a little crooked but I don't think I could have done any better with glue. Will update if it falls off again.
