Officially 40. Or some of it anyway. 😊😊 That's a reflection on hood..

I had to wait an extra year as it was registered in may 84 and it needed to be b4 April (or something like that) to qualify last year.

Very nice. Still 4 years to go for mine, can't wait to not have MOT/tax worries ever again.
off topic but are those headlight washers retrofit from a later model? I didn't realise the 80s XJS had them

I think they were an option in the late 80s for HE ABS cars with the washer tank under the wing,
The bumpers for HE powerwash were readily available on ebay but most of the sellers ​didn't seem to know what they were. This car has 2 reservoirs on it and repositioned vacuum tank to other side, I could have done away with the original resovoir but it would just be a space.
