Smile Dual electric fans

I'm thinking of going to dual fans on my 89 XJS, any helpful hints? Where is the best source for these?
Thanks,
DickC

Depending on where you are, here in Aus, the Ford AU falcon is nearly identical to the xjs in size, this is what I have read. Sorry can not think of who had this information came from at the moment but I did look into it. You can buy a complete unit with cowl and fans for around $100 on Ebay, I was just given one from a friend. I wont install mine till I do the Motor\gearbox transplant.

I've often wondered if the dual fan assembly from an X300/XJ6 would work?

That diagonal mounting would be tricky for me.
I found this site with fans and kits: v12s Jaguar XJS V12 Aluminum Electric Cooling Fan Systems
May be a little pricey but may be worth it.
Thanks Doug,
Dick C.

Hi Doug, the X300 fan shroud is too square for an XJS, so it needs to be cut down and remade to fit in the XJS's engine compartment. My acquaintance mechanic did the job, but he said it was totally a hard job to do.
Fan's power is much enough to cover the V12's heat though. So if remaking the shroud is not a problem it could be a good option.

I bought a fan kit and it's well worth the money you spend on it. It was basicly drop in fit

Thanks japthug, I figured as much, if a mechanic said it was hard then definitely to much for me!
Thanx,
DickC
