Front coil springs for 1994 XJS convertible
These aren't made anymore, so you may not like the results once installed. You may have to futz around with some shims, and even then you might not like the results.
What's the problem with your front springs? You won't find any options that will guarantee an OEM ride.

Is your car a 4.0 or a V12? The springs are different and there are reports of bad results using springs allegedly suitable for both, the V12 is much heavier so intuitively I would expect them to be different. There is also a change at chassis number 188104. I have just had a front spring break on my 1995 Facelift Coupe, SNG Barratt list the various parts but they are special order and I am in a hurry so I have ordered the DB7 based solution from David Manners. They say these need 4 packers each side to achieve the correct ride height. I will be fitting them this weekend so I'll see how it goes. If you are doing it yourself it seems like the 4 threaded rod method is most recommended - that's what I will be using - and there are multiple videos and write ups. If your dampers are getting soft then it may be a good time to replace those as well - it is a relatively simple job. Good luck.
Thanks so much for the info. I did a lot of research and found a company in London (Norman Motors in North London ?) that had the correct ones (JLM10920). I also checked with SNG Barratt and the guy was very helpful. Indeed the cheap ones (£90 for the pair) were not in stock and did not have a delivery date so he offered me some alternatives (exactly the same as Norman) and then matched the price. These are totally correct for my May '94 4.0 Convertible and I will pick them up today. They also come with 10 spacers / shims as part of their kit.
