Greetings once again. Yet another question from me, sorry....

I think one of my fuel feed hoses is a little harder than I'm happy with, so it needs replacing sooner rather than later. It's the one shown circled and arrowed in this photo below. I believe it's #1, EBC4363, in the diagram. Black Country Jaguar are selling one for fifty quid--is this actually the correct hose, or should it be #2, EBC4364, the fuel return hose? (The car's in the paint shop for about a fortnight getting her boot and roof resprayed, so I won't be driving her too much.)

My hard hose. The one next to it is soft and pliable. The cross-vee hoses are also fairly new.

Also, just how often should one change the fuel filter?
