Headlamp Adjustment XJS

can someone assist me I have a XJS 1989 and I need to adjust the low beam the headlamps is the euro style . I don't want to visit the dealer as they are 2hrs round trip if I can do this myself. My garage is flat have a white wall
hopefully I can do this myself.

In theory this can be done with the headlamp surrounds on, but is easiest to remove them.

Open the bonnet and undo the top fixing on the surround. Then ease off the surrounds. If you have headlight wipers, work the arms carefully from their spindles.

Then you will see the three fixings holding the headlight, one at the bottom and one each side. These have a screw in the middle which adjusts the light. Screw in to push the light inwards (or downwards on the bottom one), screw out to move it outwards (upwards).
