Default Headlamp Powerwash Jet Covers

OK, I've snagged all the large parts needed to repair the front end of my 1996 Jaguar XJS. It's the little guys that are gonna kill me.

We all know the chrome headlamp jet washer covers are difficult to find. I am missing the passengers side cover. Is there an alternative way to make do without the covers? I know there are blades without holes for these washers, which are equally difficult to find. Has anyone else found a way to cover up the holes without it looking strange? I'm just wondering if there are any other solutions to this problem.

Thanks.

I'm thinking the best method might be to get an existing cover scanned and then have it 3D printed.. I need a left side jet and cover after my 94 was hit last year, and no luck finding any.

Thanks. I didn't realize it was still available from JDHT! I did buy one from Black Country Jag for about the same amount.

As for the jets, I have glass headlamps. Hot glass and cold water don't work well together. I pulled the fuse from those jets because I suspect it's been the cause of a cracked headlamp in the past.

Thanks for the help. I think I'm just about done! Car goes in tomorrow to get the radiator support welded back in, then the car gets put somewhat back together, then off to get repainted!

That's the 5.3 non facelift parts, up to VIn 188104. His signature says a 1996 car, which is the facelift parts which are NLA.

Need to drill down a little bit further in the listings to see the VIN break.

Well, I got the part...its undoubtedly different. It's smaller, and made of metal. The original part I had was made out of plastic.

Is there a way to mount the new part, even though it's not the right part? It won't mount the way it was designed, I'm wondering if theres some kind of putty I could use to mount them. This new one is way heavier than the originals for my car. I guess I should invest and buy the right hand side so they match?

Any mounting suggestions out there. The spray jets will be disabled, so it's for aethetics only.

Thanks.
