Found this laying in the 'Vee' of my 5.3L V12. Not sure if it's part of an injector or what? It was laying in the area under the a/c compressor after I moved the compressor to do some maintenance. Thoughts?

Thanks, I think you're right. Strange location to find it. Also found part of a zip tie further back in the area. It certainly justifies my decision to clean it up the vee.

Schrader valve most likely from past A/C work.

The thing on the left is a dime. The thing on the right is a Schrader valve that someone dropped when repairing the A/C.

If you found a dime lying in your vee, you are officially the first XJ-S owner to get money back from your car.

I also found a petrified peanut in the headlight bay when swapping out a light so I guess I came out ahead there also.

20 yrs ago I bought a pos Honda the day before leaving for spring break and found a sack of weed in the glovebox. We disposed of it accordingly.
