@ Po

Nice new addition! I've driven a manual V12 E-type and it was a great improvement over an Auto.

How is the clutch to operate ? heavy ?

Heavy pedal with a long throw. Not much room in that space for 3 pedals. Not recommended to wear shnow shoes while driving a manual XJS.

Congrats on the S. I have always thought they were gorgeous. Where did you find it?

I guess my size 15 shoes completely rule out me driving that car....

It was in the DC Metro area.

The XJS was sooooo unloved when it first came out. Then the V12 was totally unloved. Yet, it had the longest production run (22 years) of any car Jaguar ever made.

Its my favorite of any of Jag's "modern era" cars. It has it all... luxury, performance, looks, safety and nobody wants them. Gorgeous low model XJSs are sold for a song.

Never thought I'd have one with a 5 speed.

Well we could take a different stroke on this, but I am certain that if you closely examine your G/box selector and box, you will without question find 6 gears.

But then again, it depends on whether you are backwards about coming forwards.

LOL

You've probably seen more XJSs than I've ever even dreamed about.

I thought the Getrag was 1 Reverse, 4 Forward. It's not?

Just out of curiousity, this is the only 'late model' XJS I've ever seen with a manual tranny. How rare are they? (this one had the tranny installed about 6 years ago).
