Default LED Bulbs

V12 Performance sells an LED bulb replacement. Has anyone used this? Is it any good. Is there a better LED bulb out there to buy?

from what I understand from past posts on this, you can find them cheaper, I got mine on Ebay (been 2 yrs ago so don't remember were), but do a search there and a google search. There are places you can find the small bulbs for the center dash switches. If I find the places I got mine I will pass it on

found one place https://www.superbrightleds.com/cat/...NG+-+Car+Bulbs

Default LED Bulbs

Daverb has it right, I have purchased many products from super bright LEDs and have always been happy with them. I've used their 194 bulbs in my Olds and their "make your own size strips" at work on a few work tables, machines, etc. I recommend them.

I ordered some of these (not the collections) about a year ago and was disappointed.

I found better product, better selections at better prices at LEDlight.com.

Looked over the superbrightled bulb site. There are a lot of these types of bulbs. I will have to measure these things to match them up. But, they are less costly. Thanks for the information.

Before you order with Brian, please check out the threads here on Brian and V12 Performance. Too many of us here have had 'issues' with him and have lost money.

I have recently lost over $400 with him.

Just a heads up

Which model do you have please? And did they plug in Ok like the originals, or did you have to take the pack to bits first (rear white cover off etc etc)?

I have a 1989 pre facelift 3.6
I bought 5 green LEDs rather than the big kit which contains all the warning light bulbs as well.

I hope this helps.

Did they plug straight into the back of the pack like the old bulbs?

Since we're on the subject, is there such a thing as a full cross reference listing of all the XJS lamps vs their LED quivalents, including their specific location/application? I still don't have a single LED on my kitty, other than the floor illumination set up. I really need to start thinking about going LED's both, interior and exterior, but I don't know where to start.

Thanks in advance,

I replaced the stop lights and turn signal lamps with LED equivalents about
4 years ago.
I had to use a load resistor because the 1994 used a flasher relay. Without
the load resistor the flasher does a really fast blinking cycle.
I still get a lamp out indication on the console with and without the
load resistor. But the lamps work great and there is a reduced load on the
battery and alternator.
I believe I got my lamps from SuperBrightLeds also.
