Power steering fluid spec?
Hi,
'88 V12........ the ps pump is groaning bit on full lock. Going to check fluid level tomorrow and picked up some dexron VI tonight just in case. The manual says dexron 2D. I understand Dexron VI is backwards compatible so should be fine, but have also heard of owners mixing up fluid types and ending up with fluid that turns to gel.
Any insight anyone?
