Default Pre-Facelift Front Fog Light / Lamp

I know that this Hella light is correct fitment and wiring plug for an early facelift car. But does it fit pre-facelft models? Is the bracket on the lamp the same as pre-facelift ones? And, although it could easily be cut off, is the wiring plug the same?

Tks for any replies

Paul

Bracket and connector look similar to what is on my '88 car.

Tks Doug.

rgp,

Neither. I already have fogs on my big-bumper 94 which are the unique Hella one with the "upside-down" backplate on the light. These are just some spare new ones that I have which I'm going to ebay, and I just wondered if they also fitted pre-facelift cars,

Tks Guys.

I'm being told that the large round yellow connector is XJ40? Can anyone confirm if they have that connector on a pre-facelift or early facelift XJS? If so, which year?

Tks

Paul

The male harness connectors on the car itself, are about ~9/16" OD and red, on my '88 car. The female connectors on the lights are yellow.

Doug,

There are a number of different yellow connectors used on the lights across different Jaguar models. Are the ones on your car the ones shown in the pic?

Tks

Paul
