Default radius arms

New to forum and I have purchased a 94 xjs convertible that needs a little work. I am removing the radius arms off the rear suspension. The bolt that holds the radius arm to the rear axle does not clear the shock mount in order to remove the radius arm. There must be an easy solution but I don't know it.Please help.

Dom, Welcome to the Forum, I do not have the answer, but am also in the process of getting a 95 XJS....so any helpful pics or tips you post here would be great.
Hopefully, some other members will be in a position to help with the radius arm issue you have.
Cheers.

Hi Dom and welcome. That bolt should have one corner of the bolt head ground off. Line up the ground part and it should JUST clear the mount. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
As an aside, mine was so rusted inside the bushing I had to cut it out.

Have spare bushings to replace and get a bigger pry bar. Brute force is the answer here. Make sure the kids aren't around, your language will not be good.
