The mats in my "new" Jag are kind of awful, and one is not original at all. Is there a source anyone can recommend for replacements or just eBay? The car is red with the beige interior. Thanks!

Another vote for Paul's Jaguar. They know their stuff when it comes to Jag interiors.

 

Just looked at Paul's site...no mats for my 87.

Another place to consider is qualitycarmats.com. They will send you actual samples (free!) of the material they'll make the mats out of, so you know what color you are getting. Of course they won't say "Jaguar" on them...

My experience with Paul's is that what's on their website or ebay store is just a small representation of what they have. Best thing to do is call and talk to them.

 

IMHO, I can do without his pompousness and arrogance, bought a "Y" pipe from them a while ago for an XJ6 (unpleasant phone experience) called to check on seat foams for my XJ-S (again VERY un pleasant phone experience, said he had them but wouldn't sell them) then checked on some Connelly leather seat covers (according to him he owns ALL the leather and foam ever produced for our cars) last inquiry was on the $30 overnight price jump on his HE under trays (again VERY condescending reply to my inquiry) but then maybe I just bring out the best in people Needless to say I'm not a fan and will always try to source from another supplier. I bought a set of floor mats for my XJS and my wife's XJ6L from autoetc on e-bay, very happy with them. One set (XJ-S) is plush the XJ6L is Berber. Very high quality, promptly sent samples to compare on request before ordering and they actually take PayPal (unlike "paul")
