Default Spare tire retention nut? Which one do I need?

Here is a picture of my spare tire / threaded rod that holds the spare tire in my 94 xjs. I'm trying to find out what is the correct nut/retention device to hole this in place. I have the offset one that holds it via the lug nut, but that particular rod doesn't fit into the earlier models that I have (made in Mar/93). So I'm on the hunt for whatever is needed here.

Can you measure the threads of the rod and the ID of the wheel opening?
I might be able to match that up with stuff I have.

Regular wheel and SPACE SAVER WHEEL. are different.
CBC5627 CLAMP NUT shows to go through a wheel stud hole and clamp wheel in place.

1/2-13tpi, the hub of the wheel is 2.00 inches. I have the clamp nut used in the later models, but it's too small. I also have a handwheel....also too small diameter. Thanks for the help guys.
edit- full size spare...I'm beginning to think the xj-6 type might be the correct one. I'll try and find a pic.

For a full size spare as pictured, the stud goes through one of the lug holes. Then a cylindrical spacer, and a black plastic thumb wheel nut that is about 2” inches diameter.

well, the rod is straight(as pictured), and it doesn't line up with the lug holes like the later version does (they have the bend in it). Do you have a picture of this setup?

So I finally got this sorted. I had to remove the rear steel panel and remove the existing carriage bolt and replaced it with the correct retention rod and nut. All is good now. Pic of the area where the rod attaches to the structure.
