Question Valve cover

Hi, I need to replace the valve cover gasket on my 95 XJS 4.0. I see the top cover is in three pieces, two look painted a blueish grey color , the other where the Jag logo is looks like finished material. Is this correct or has someone painted the two lower pieces. I'm going to try and attach a photo. If they are original paint does anyone have a color code? Thanks

s in advance.

Once you remove that top, center plastic part, T27 torx bit, by the way, you'll find that the cover below it is indeed one whole magnesium cover. You should do a search for magnesium camcover under the x300 forum. You'll learn all about that part.

It'll be under Jaguar Models -> Modern

Or you can just do a forum search for "magnesium camcover"....preferably adding the word "definitive".
